After negotiating in bad faith to goad teachers to go on strike, Clark's BC Liberal government made it clear over the Labour Day weekend that the protracted labour dispute would not be settled before the scheduled return of school on Tuesday.
That's because the government's bargaining agent "did not bring one penny to the table" during a weekend mediation session and demanded a "court case escape clause" to nullify two class size and composition wins for teachers and their students in the B.C. Supreme Court.
